Quadrooter threatens over 900 million Androids on Snapdragon.

Checkpoint Software Technologies reported new vulnerabilities found in the Android security system. According to specialists, the detected brachi, known as Quadrooter, maliciouss with little difficulty can gain full access to other smartphones or tablets with Qualcomm processors, which in turn leads to over 900 million Androids in the risk area.

For the first time, Check Point Software Technologies notified Qualcomm of the vulnerability found in April this year. However, according to the rules, this information could only be made public after the 90-day deadline: during that period, the Qualcomm developers should have released a special path.

With the Quadrooter ' s four vulnerabilities, malicious men can plant harmful software on a smartphone or plank without the owner ' s permission and consent. The fraudsters then receive the root-access and can use the camera, the microphone and the information stored on the Android system.

The list of vulnerabilities has been supplemented by relatively new and popular models: Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 and Nexus 6P, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. BlackBerry DTEK50, which manufacturers say has a high level of safety, has also been added to the list. Nevertheless, the " seed " product has been exposed to one of four vulnerabilities.

Google staff reported that a new pathetic that would remove the barrels in the security system would appear in September, and until then they strongly advised all users to be more careful: to download only Google Play and not to use unprotected Wi-Fi compounds
